Rooster Teeth and DC Comics will team up to bring a new RWBY comic book series in 2019. The novel RWBY: After the Fall from EC Myers will tell the story of Team CFVY. A new RWBY manga is set for release in 2019, and will drop simultaneously in English and Japanese. Blake decides she needs to be with her team. After everything that happened in Volume 5, Sun decides he needs to become a better team leader. Blake jokes that he is barking up the wrong tree. He wants to team up with his old crew, including Neptune, who shows up to hit on Ilia. Sun shows up and says that he is going back to his home. Ilia's going back to Haven to help Blake's family rebuild. Qrow sends a letter to Atlas to explain what happened in the Battle of Haven. The next scene showed RWBY and RNGR in a train station, preparing to leave for Argus. We also learn he's still mad at Blake for betraying him, and is holding a grudge. They still remember how he ran away from the last battle. He wants his throne back but the rest of White Fang don't accept him. It cuts to the White Fang hideout, where Adam has made his return. Team RWBY and RNGR are in action fighting off winged bear Grimms. The clip opens on a train winding it's way through a snowy mountain range. The panel opened by showing a clip of the first episode from Volume 6. They took questions from the panel moderator and from fans, and hey even showed a brand new clip of the first episode. Lindsay Jones (Ruby), Kara Eberle (Weiss), Arryn Zech (Blake), and Barbara Dunkelman (Yang) plus writer/directors Miles Luna and Kerry Shawcross were in attendance in front of a massive crowd in Madison Square Garden. Rooster Teeth returned to New York Comic Con to reveal more information on the upcoming season of RWBY before its release later this month.
